Organisation of the National Bureau

Milieudefensie has been working toward a sustainable and fair Netherlands since 1971. If we share the earth fairly with each other, end pollution and take no more from the earth than it can support, prosperity will be possible for all: for ourselves, people in other parts of the world and our children and grandchildren.
Milieudefensie works with four themes: Food, Energy, Mobility and Economy. Milieudefensie does this with as many other people as possible: locally, nationally and internationally, as a member of Friends of the Earth International.
Milieudefensie is an association with 84,000 members and donors. This association has paid employees and its national headquarters is in Amsterdam.
Milieudefensie is managed by four department managers and a director.
Donald Pols – Director
